CMT Team Lead

Pay:

· $70k with increase to $80k after 90 days (Paid hourly rate)

Requirements to Apply:

· Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

· Good attendance record (will verify with HR)

· Ability to work 5 shifts per week

· Strong communication skills

Team Lead Tasks/Duties:

· Pass scheduled and prn medications on assigned unit(s), including accuchecks and insulins

· Contact pharmacy with any needs- communicate with Team Nurse of any medication concerns

· Assist with physician rounds as needed under the direction of the Team Nurse (Team Nurse must transcribe all orders)

· Complete Hourly Nurse/Team Lead Face Checks

· Ensure required Vital Signs are completed (must do medication required vitals prior to med administration)

· Assist with scheduling and following up with appointments

· Give direction to floor staff as needed/coordinate floor assignments with Team Administrator

· Document in resident progress notes (with DON approval and nurse guidance). TEAM NURSE WILL DOCUMENT ALL MEDICAL EMERGENCIES, BEHAVIORAL EMERGENCIES AND ASSESSMENTS COMPLETED

· Ensure there is no red in PCC prior to leaving shift and all scheduled tasks are completed

· Assist floor staff on floor as needed with direct patient care

· Communicate with Team Administrator on all concerns

· Communicate with Licensed or Registered Nurse pertaining to resident concerns or issues

· Leave voicemail at end of shift with report on all residents on assigned unit(s)

· This list may be adjusted to meet the needs of the residents and facility
