*Position based in Tri-state Area*

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of hotel experience, location, and education.


OVERVIEW/BASIC
FUNCTION:

Maximizes hotel room and other revenues through development and maintenance of revenue strategy, cooperation with sales and marketing and optimal use of business systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that revenue management standards and system health are maintained at a superior level daily.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures and reporting procedures for all business channels with corresponding standardization of data entry/account coding for the property, with the goal of providing real-time business analysis.
  • Develop, implement and monitor compliance with standard operating procedures for all revenue management functions.
  • Implement and maintain an effective yield strategy that achieves optimal revenue for Rooms, F&B and C&B at all times.

  • Accountable for the forecasting and budgeting of revenues for the subject property in a strategic way with maximum accuracy
  • Ensure that business partners are fully exposed to the highest levels of revenue management strategy and practice to ensure alignment and maximization of business strategy.
  • All other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience: Minimum two years’ experience as a Revenue, Sales or Reservations manager for a luxury or ultra - luxury property. Experience with the local market highly valued.
  • Education: College degree.
  • General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize , organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest’s service needs; work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.


  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated affinity for hospitality business systems and automated processes, working knowledge of economic and commercial influences on customer behavior, business calculus and financial management. Highly skilled in all forms of professional communication and data visualization, consensus building, persuasion and negotiation.
  • Language: Required to speak, read, and write English in addition to local language requirements.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Licenses & Certifications: CHIA, CRME strongly preferred.
