Position Details

Position: Clubhouse Generalist 1 or 2

Position Purpose: A Clubhouse Generalist provides services for adults with mental illness in accordance with Clubhouse International Standards. Staff work side-by-side with members on all tasks necessary for the operation of the Clubhouse.

Primary job responsibilities include:

• Implementing and ensuring the practice of the Clubhouse philosophy and standards for Clubhouse International Accreditation
• Planning, coordinating, and executing daily work alongside Clubhouse members
• Creatively engaging members in order to collaboratively complete all work of the Clubhouse
• Completing clinical documentation as required by all state/federal funding sources
• Organizing, implementing, and participating in some evening, weekend, and holiday activities
• Assisting members in accessing needed community services and supports
• Providing outreach to members who have not been attending Clubhouse
• Providing support for members in identifying and obtaining educational goals
• Actively participating in fundraising efforts for the Clubhouse
• Providing employment support for members

Clubhouse generalists are expected to assist members in reaching their employment goals. This can include work within the Clubhouse such as developing resumes, preparing for interviews, searching for jobs, completing applications, and other employment related activities. Generalists are also responsible for acting as placement managers for members participating in the Clubhouse’s Transitional Employment Program. This includes but is not limited to developing/maintaining a relationship with the placement employer, learning the job responsibilities for the placement, training Clubhouse members in the job responsibilities, and providing coverage for the job when Clubhouse members are unavailable.

Position Specifics: Full-Time 8am-4pm – Non-Exempt – Full Benefits – Starting pay:

Generalist 1: $15.00 hourly

Generalist 2: $17.00 hourly

Minimum Hiring Requirements

Academic:

Generalist 1: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Some college experience is preferred.

Generalist 2: BS or BA in the Social Services Field

Experience:

Generalist 1: 1-year minimum experience in similar position with population in social services agency.

Generalist 2: 1-year minimum experience in similar position with population in social services agency.

Employees will be required to be fully vaccinated prior to hire as a condition of employment. Will you be able to provide documentation of vaccination?
