Club Accountant Job at Miromar Development Corp.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: accounts receivable activities (post payments to member’s accounts, prepare and make bank deposits, generate and mail member statements monthly, assist members with billing inquiries, monitor the A/R aging report and update and provide analysis Club Controller about delinquent member accounts), daily balancing of POS charges, credit card transactions, credit books and gift certificates, process new members and maintain membership records and accounts, assist with month end close (various account reconciliations, inventory/cost of sales, journal entries), calculate monthly sales tax, general clerical tasks as needed and other duties assigned by the Club Controller or General Manager. You may be asked to provide support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Club Accounting Experience: 1-2 years required
- Experience with club management software-Northstar Club Management System a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
- Effective communication skills
- Efficient, well organized and detail oriented
- Ability and willingness to meet critical deadlines
- Ability to analyze data
