Facilitate new hire training and retraining for current team members. Topics may include but are not limited to: operations, skill refinement, customer relations, goal setting/achieving, strategizing, sales, Chiropractic, branding, technology, management, and metrics.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire training and retraining for current team members. Training will be geared towards improving professional knowledge, customer service and technical skills. Topics may include but are not limited to: operations, skill refinement, customer relations, goal setting/achieving, strategizing, sales, Chiropractic, branding, technology, management, administering schedules, Medulla’s Vision and Mission, and metrics.
• Analyze the Training Program to determine current needs, project future needs and develop a program catered to ensuring the Medulla Clinical Team has the skills, knowledge, and drive to accomplish its strategic plan.
• Identify different learning styles amongst team members and create a blended learning environment catered to the individuals present. Listen actively and accept feedback; communicate with enthusiasm, clarity, and simplicity; provide regular and constructive feedback to learners and develop, coach, motivate, and inspire trainees and fellow team members.
• Perform all administrative duties associated with conducting training (including all pre-training prep work, administering schedules, proctoring exams, adjusting schedules as needed, sending out communications to trainees and managers, obtaining system logins, executing signatures and post-training assessments).
• Function as a liaison between departments/managers and trainees.
• Facilitates courses as needed to support the execution of training programs in multiple delivery methods, including virtual and classroom training sessions.
• Assist with evaluation of training programs to measure effectiveness and instructional strategies as well as resource requirements in order to improve future training.
• Update and modify materials based on best practices, policy/product/system updates or to improve employee performance and training effectiveness.
• Maintain and refresh professional knowledge via attending conferences, reading professional publications, and attending relevant trainings that promote success within the position. Remain current on Medulla policies, procedures, and protocols via the Medulla Social Network: currently yammer.com and Teams.
• Coordinate and build collaborative working relationships with SMEs, interacting with them in order to develop and maintain knowledge of systems, processes, and procedures
• Professionally and enthusiastically promote the Medulla Brand.
• Assure accurate and up to date knowledge of the services and products provided by Medulla.
• Accept and request coaching from qualified sources including Directors and Managers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Wellness of Education or related field or certificate/certification in adult learning.
• Two or more years of training experience.
• Ability to write technical material, manuals, formal processes, and procedures.
• Availability to travel domestically for personal onboarding and continuing education, or to cover for another trainer (as needed).
• Minimum of three years’ experience in adult learning (preferably in healthcare).
• Demonstrated knowledge of the issues and implications of in-class and distance learning and successful mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to confidently and professionally respond to strange scenarios and concerns.
• Landmark Forum completion.
• Licensure to legally take spinal x-rays in the designated state.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASTD Training Certificate, CPLP or WPLI Certificate.
• Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design.
• Previous experience in a chiropractic office.
• Previous supervisory, management and/or customer service experience.
