The clinical Therapists will meet with children, youth, and adult clients to provide individual and counseling services. Clinical Therapists can also provide group therapy services during the summer/off-school months. The clinical therapists will also provide evening psychoeducation workshops to parents (English and Spanish). Clinical Therapist has an understanding of the impact of structural barriers and cultural beliefs on mental health when working with individuals in our communities.

The Full-Time Clinical Therapist will be a position in partnership with Proyecto Cuidate Department directly impacting the Southside Chicago and South Lawndale community, as well as the West Town Latino community.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The clinical therapist has experience providing client-centered, trauma-informed counseling to individuals and families. The clinical therapist will co-locate between the West Town office and the Little Village office. The clinical therapist will also work alongside the other clinicians to create workshops, consult to expand skills, and attend outreach opportunities to connect with the community.

Travel: there will be travel between sites at Little Village and West town locations.

The clinical therapists will have an understanding of DARP for note writing and have strong clinical skills for assessment, treatment planning, and execution of therapy services.

Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required.
  • Work experience of 2 years, recent graduate or entry-level welcomed to apply.
  • Bilingual written skills,
  • Experience with online health records, excel, PowerPoint
  • Background Check required

Compensation of $40,000 - $50,000 yearly based on experience
