Our inpatient facility houses 12 clients who receive specialized and personal care from our staff. 15 acres, located in scenic Bangor. Opportunity for advancement and merit raises.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs professional casework and clinical services with clients
- Assesses and monitors client’s behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency.
- Works as a team member with other professionals
- Participates in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
- Conducts individual, family and group therapy, interviews clients and relatives
- Participates in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
- Prepares verbal, written, and statistical reports
- Attends conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
- Communicates effectively with others in person and over the telephone
- Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures, and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
- Develops forms for the program
- Conducts outcome assessments, collects data, and analyzes the data
- Oversight and maintenance of adherence to Joint Commission regulations
- Maintain confidential information in accordance with legal standards and/or County regulations
- Attends community functions and makes presentations
- May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Principles, procedures, techniques, trends of clinical and casework services, counseling, and treatment.
- Social aspects and characteristics of mental and emotional disturbances
- A wide variety of therapeutic and treatment approaches for persons with mental and emotional problems.
- Scope, availability, and activities of community resources, including other mental health and social service agencies
- Current trends in mental hygiene, mental health, public health, and social services, including State and Federal programs in these areas.
- Expert communication skills and counseling abilities
- Current license as a Clinical Psychologist issued by the California State Board of Psychology.
Education and minimum qualifications:
- Must obtain a license as a Clinical Psychologist under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
- Must possess a PhD or PsyD.
- Must have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling.
- Must be very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License
- Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.

Salary: $120,000- $160,000
