Clinical Informaticist Full Time Days Position Summary
The Clinical Informaticist provides leadership in all aspects of the life cycle of clinical information systems. The role provides a liaison between clinical workflows and information technology in the implementation, optimization and ongoing support of clinical systems involved with the electronic health record (EHR).
Responsibilities
The Clinical Informaticist acts as an advocate for clinical workflows within the confines of the EHR and helps build adoption and improved use of the system. Focus is on being the advocate and change agent for hospital leaders and clinicians to ensure maximum benefit of the EHR.
THE CLINCAL INFORMATICIST FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: Registered Nurse
Experience
Required: One year clinical experience
