What You’ll Do

• Provide a maximum of 5 initial assessments per week under the direction of the Clinical Assessor Lead
• Train team on conducting initial assessments
• Ensure intakes are completed for prospective families/clients in conjunction with admissions and the clinical department
• Ensure initial assessments are completed within the company timeline and per the assessment standard operating procedure
• Use standardized assessment tools such as Vineland, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, PEAK, Safe-T, etc., when conducting initial assessments
• Develop goals that are best-in-class, evidence-based, and reflect the goals of the client as well as the results of an assessment
• Ensure the appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and the receiving team
• Conduct peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours

Education, Work-Experience, and Other Requirements

• BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
• 3+ years of experience in the field supervising others
  
• Flexibility with hours and the ability to work some weekends and nights as needed
• Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings

Expertise Needed

• Working with insurance-funded services
• Conducting standardized assessments (skill acquisition and behavior reduction) for a variety of ages and skillsets
• Using electronic data collection tools
• Providing services in home and clinical environments
