Brighter Tomorrows, a non-profit health and human services agency located in Dallas County, serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, is seeking a Client Support Services Advocate for our emergency safe shelters.

Brighter Tomorrows offers comprehensive and responsive solutions to Dallas and Tarrant County residents affected by domestic violence and sexual assault through our 24-hour hotline, emergency shelter, counseling services, and advocacy. Our service delivery framework is built on trauma-informed best practices that promote safety and self-determination and are offered by highly trained staff at no-cost to our participants.

Shift available:

Monday - Friday.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Immediate Supervisor: Shelter Manager and Chief Program Officer

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Driver's License and vehicle insurance coverage
• Clean driving record
• Box Truck Experience
• Clean background check
• Able to lift and move at least 50 pounds

Prime Functions:

• Transport clients to and from appointments as needed.
• Pick-up food donations and deliver to proper agency location.
• Record and report on food donations.
• Properly store food in the food pantry.
• Complete temperature logs daily.
• Keep a schedule of all driving of company vehicles.
• Weekly safety check on company vehicles.
• Administrative support at emergency shelters
• Assist shelter manager with projects and administration of shelters.
• Other duties as needed.
