Position Summary:
The Client Service Analyst, Employee Benefits supports firm clientele who utilize the Employee Benefits Group (EBG) Benefit Administration service by interacting with clients, insurance company partners, and EBG groups to support mid to large sized client groups and their employees.
Principal Responsibilities:
  • Cultivates strong relationships with clients, firm and insurance company partners
  • Provides prompt, efficient, high-quality service to instill client confidence and peace of mind for all clientele utilizing benefit administration service in designated area
  • Liaises with client’s HR group as main point of contact for benefit administration
  • Processes client new hire enrollments, terminations, qualifying events, demographic changes, and COBRA notices using EDI files or manual updates
  • Documents activity in on-line client file using Brokerage Builder to ensure quality record-keeping
  • Provides enrollment support for clients and their employees
  • Understands carrier requirements and attributes and possesses in depth knowledge of carrier partners
  • Extracts weekly reports from Employee Navigator for enrollment and demographic changes and makes necessary updates
  • Looks for opportunities to improve the firm, business segment and processes. Brings issues and discrepancies to the attention of appropriate leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • License preferred or ability to acquire it Previous experience in an employee benefits role preferred
  • Experience with Employee Navigator and Brokerage Builder preferred
  • High attention to detail and data input accuracy
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to learn appropriate insurance company and firm software systems and stay apprised of related nuances and changes
  • The ability to learn benefits and grow in product knowledge
  • The ability to apply knowledge and experience to explain benefits to members in clear and relatable terms
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads while adhering to deadlines
  • The ability to interact and communicate effectively in a team environment to share knowledge and manage workflows
  • Must demonstrate core values, exuding behavior aligned with the firm’s culture.
Special Working Conditions:
Fast paced, multi-tasking environment
The starting pay is $39,160 - 49,160 plus. Salary is negotiable upon time of offer.
