About us
Albertson & Jones, P.A. is a CPA firm located in Beulaville, NC that specializes in tax, accounting, and financial planning for individuals, closely-held businesses, and not-for-profits. We are looking for a Client Accounting Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities
Assist firm clients with bookkeeping and bill pay services including preparation of monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and recording needed journal entries.
Assist clients with the calculation of monthly and quarterly payroll tax deposits and preparation of payroll tax forms.
Prepare semi-annual sales and use tax refund reports for not-for-profit clients.
Assist with income tax returns during tax season including some light tax prepartion and processing completed returns to be delivered to clients.
Expectations for this position
At least 5 years of experience performing a similary function either in a CPA firm or working in a small business.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
Experience with Bill.com is a plus.
Experience preparing quarterly and annual payroll tax reports.
Ability to work with multiple clients and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
