• No more than 1.5 points on DMV record (current within 30 days printout is required for interview)
• Comfortable using Electronic Logging Devices that are wirelessly connected to your mobile device to produce driving records and record vehicle inspections
• Able to operate a 10-speed manual transmission
• Must be able to frequently lift and move materials and packages of 100lbs
• Able to deliver to schools and prisons
• Flatbed experience preferred

This is a Monday to Friday position. The shift begins at 3 AM and runs until noon or the route is finished. This position is paid by the hour, not by the mile. Your day will typically begin by moving a variety of vehicles to be loaded, assisting in that loading, and then running a shorter route (often the local route). On occasion there may be no route for you to run and you will instead be acting as a Material Handler in the warehouse, pulling, cutting, and packaging material for customer orders for will call or future shipment.

Our daily routes are local, intrastate, and usually within a 100-mile radius, including in the Sierra Mountains. We utilize Motive for ELDs and Dashcams and you will be required to record your HOS using this system. Our fleet is comprised primarily of Kenworth day cab tractors and bobtails, most of which have 10-speed manual transmissions.

We deliver a variety of materials ranging from thin sheet metal to 30,000lb beams. We have a variety of trailers which are used depending on the delivery scenario ranging from 40’-45’. You will be expected to tarp when necessary, assist in loading your vehicle, and on the rare occasion operate customer equipment to unload yourself.
