Pacific Life is investing in bright, agile and diverse talent to contribute to our mission of innovating our business and creating a superior customer experience. We’re actively seeking a talented Claims Specialist II to join our Claims team in Newport Beach, CA. This role will be hybrid.
As a Claims Specialist II, you’ll play a key role in Pacific Life’s growth and long-term success by examining and adjudicating death and living claims. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 11 people in the Consumer Markets division. Your colleagues will include Claims Specialists, Claims Coordinators and Operations Account Management Coordinators.
The experience you will bring:
Minimum of 4 years college or equivalent education/experience with an emphasis in death and living claims processing is preferred
Demonstrated ability to analyze, solve complex problems and collaborate to find customer resolutions
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing strong analytical/decision making skills
Ability to communicate sensitive, confidential information with empathy
Comfortable responding to and discussing death benefits

Base Pay Range:
The base pay range noted provides a basis to determine the appropriate offer dependent upon several factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience, skills, education and pay equity. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$22.21 - $27.79 - $34.76
