:Gannett Fleming’s Environmental Management & Natural Resources Team is seeking highly motivated Civil/Environmental Engineers to join a dynamic and growing, multi-disciplinary team to provide expertise for a diversity of municipal and private clients.
Our projects are primarily in the mid-Atlantic region and there are opportunities to work on projects throughout the U.S. Our preferred locations for these positions are Camp Hill and Valley Forge, PA, and Baltimore, MD.
Duties and Responsibilities are:
- Participate in the planning, design, and construction administration of municipal infrastructure facilities.
- Conduct site visits, surveys and inspections, and assist with data collection, compilation and assessment for a variety of projects.
- Coordinate with project teams to develop design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports.
- Review and prepare federal, state, and local permit applications.
- Evaluate vendor submissions to assure compliance with design and technical specifications.
- Perform construction observation and field engineering services.
: Minimum Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering required, M.S. degree is a plus.
- 1-5 years of civil or environmental engineering experience such as civil/site design, grading, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control.
- EIT is required, candidate should be on track to receive PE license.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, design, permitting and construction administration of civil/site projects.
- Physically able to perform work in the field.
- Construction observation experience is a plus.
- Team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or 3D platform (i.e., Revit), Microsoft Office Suite, and use of standard engineering software.
