Coffman Engineers is seeking a Civil Designer with eight plus years of experience in civil engineering/land development, including site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and site utility design, to join our San Diego office. The successful candidate will have a desire to work and grow with a multidisciplinary engineering team, experience that ranges from preliminary design through construction.
- Technical or Associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred
- 8 plus years of experience in drafting and design for civil site improvements
- Possess advanced CAD, layout, and AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, including surfaces, pipe networks, profiles, etc.
- Technical experience with preparation of public improvement and grading plans, site grading, and earthwork calculations preferred
- Experience coordinating with a multi-discipline design team
- Working with counterparts in other offices to share workload when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
Expected Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00.
