Summary:
Designs, construct, assembles, erect, install and repair structures, fixtures and other items of wood, plywood, wallboard, concrete forms according to blueprints, sketches and oral instructions.
Essential Job Functions:
· Demonstrates good work practices through compliance and support for all site safety and health rules and guidelines.
· Reads and understands blueprints, sketched, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material and dimensions of structure or fixture to be fabricated.
· Selects and transport appropriate materials and tools for job.
· Shapes materials to prescribed measurements using hand tools and power saws and assembles shaped material together with nails, glue or pins.
· Braces forms in place with timbers, tie-rods, and anchor bolts for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
· Erects, built in place forms or assembles and installs pre-fabricated forms.
· Operates survey equipment to ensure accuracy.
· Installs re-enforcing wire or steel and pour and finished concrete.
· Cleans up the work area when the job is complete and returns surplus materials and tools to their proper location.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
