Chiropractic practice in Summerville seeking a part-time Chiropractic Assistant. Successful candidate will be one who is articulate and possesses GREAT people skills in order to deliver an upbeat and positive patient experience. Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task. We are looking for an individual who will become an integral part of our team to help grow our business. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about their work and can make the job their own, to help grow the business. A long-term commitment is desired and advancement possible based on performance and growth of company.

This job is approximately 25-30 hours per week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Prior chiropractic or medical experience is desired, but willing to train the right candidate.

Chiropractic Assistant Job Duties:

• Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner.
• Schedules patients in an efficient manner for a wide variety of appointment types using Electronic Health Records system
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; works together to improve/reduce any delays
• Greets patients professionally and promptly with exceptional customer service skills.
• Answers questions regarding all services offered.
• Enters new patient and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information (personal and financial).
• Perform therapies, such as electric stim and ultrasound, on Chiropractic patients.
• Collects copayments, deductibles, coinsurance, and balances due at every visit.
• Communicate information accurately to patients about a wide variety of insurance plans.
• Maintains organization and neatness of clinic daily.
• Responsible for handling incoming faxes and fax requests.
• Adheres to all HIPPA regulations, ensuring protected health information is secure.
