Chipley Chiropractic in Beckley WV is looking to expand our team! We are currently accepting applications for a Chiropractic Assistant position. This will be a PART-TIME position 2 to 3 days a week (16 to 24 hours) on Monday thru Friday. Starting pay will be based on prior experience ranging from $11 to $14 an hour. Most Important is that the candidate MUST be a People Person! We are looking for a pleasant Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk of our chiropractic office. Responsibilities * Check in and check out patients * Collect payments and insurance information * Verify insurance for coverage and co-payment * Bill Insurance * Organize and schedule appointments * Manage office communications (e.g. phone, correspondence) * Assist in flow of patients * Help in set up of Physical Therapy Modalities * Must have worked at a front-desk position; experience in a medical/chiropractic practice environment is a plus * Must have knowledge with scheduling patients * Proficiency in MS Office * Will train in Electronic Medical Records software, if unfamiliar * Social perceptiveness and service oriented * Patience and discretion * High school diploma; additional training as medical assistant or administration is a plus. * We will give additional consideration to applicants with prior experience working in a chiropractic office but this is not required * If interested, please email your resume or apply through Indeed. * Please Do Not bring application by the office.
