The YWCA Greater Harrisburg has current openings for part-time Child Visitation Monitors in Perry County. Primary responsibilities include:

• supervising visits between child(ren) and visiting party(ies)
• documenting observations and interactions from supervised visits
• preparing professional reports of visits for supervising agencies such as Dauphin County Courts and/or Children and Youth Services
• ensuring adherence to the rules and guidelines of visitation for all parties
• acting as a neutral third party, allowing safe access for visiting party to access child(ren)
• collecting and entering data
• maintaining confidential, accurate client files and required case documentation
• promoting a safe and professional visitation environment and experience
• ensuring visitation site is clean and orderly upon departureCandidates must be able to demonstrate a successful history of:

Must be able to utilize Microsoft Word with proficient typing skills for note-taking during visits and must be dependable and reliable. Experience working with mental health, crisis intervention, and/or drug and alcohol a plus. Associate's Degree in human services or related field with 2 years' work experience required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
