What will you be doing?
As an Art Teacher, you will plan lessons to develop students' skills, utilize appropriate technology to facilitate art instruction, and guide and evaluate student portfolios, amongst other duties. Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
- Creating developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAEYC standards.
- Curating programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
- Maintaining a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
- Providing effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- 1 year in Art Education or Child Care (2+ years preferred)
- Demonstrated personal artistic skills
- Graphic design experience preferred
- Ability to build relationships with children and families
- Ability to work within regular operating hours
- Must meet state criteria for childcare employment
