THE TEAM
Make-A-Wish America is the national headquarters for our organization, providing resources and support for our Chapters around the country. The Chapter Advancement team provides and promotes a range of services for chapters and chapter leadership to advance the Make-A-Wish mission throughout the country. We are focused on a collaborative support system to ensure chapter and organizational health in delivering the mission to the communities we serve. We align our work with our four strategic pillars: Increase Our Revenue, Grant More Wishes, Inspire Our People and Enhance Our Capabilities. The team partners with chapter leadership and Board of Directors to strengthen performance, leadership, and organizational development, and to ensure adherence to national policies and performance standards to protect our brand and mission.
THE ROLE
The Chapter Resource Coordinator coordinates requests and distribution of goods and services donated or offered with in-kind pricing from national corporate partners to Make-A-Wish chapters. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including national and chapter staff, as well as vendors, and corporate partners in coordination of programs.
Where You Come In
As the Chapter Resource Coordinator you will:
- Coordinate and fulfill requests received from chapters for in-kind wish resources.
- Track utilization of in-kind programs.
- Communicate and collaborate with chapter staff, national staff, and corporate partners to ensure efficient and successful processes.
- Directly complete booking requests for in-kind resources when centralized booking is needed, including but not limited to special allotments from corporate donors.
- Develop and update program materials, including request forms, process documents, fact sheets, and presentations.
- Serve as back-up for coordination of mileage donation programs, including campaigns and donation administration.
- Perform other job duties, as assigned.
- This position is based in Phoenix but is a 100% remote role.
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in administration, customer service, or account coordination.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
- Database & reporting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with federated not-for-profit organizations is helpful.
- Position may require travel to organizational conferences and events.
