We are looking for Part Time Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners (CRNP).

Work Schedule:
8:30am – 4:30pm Saturday & Sunday (flexibility to work only Saturday or Sunday)

Education/Experience Required: Nursing school graduate - MSN with two (2) years of mental health/ co-occurring experience. Must be certified by the ANC, Credentialing Center and licensed by the Pennsylvania Commonwealth of the Boards. Must have proof of pharmacological training. Should have Psychiatric experience and be comfortable working with adults (18+) on an inpatient psychiatric unit.

Job Duties:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis and manage pharmacotherapy of common mental illnesses under the supervision of the Medical Director or an alternate physician.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric treatment to adults with psychiatric disorders and possibly co-occurring substance abuse disorders in addition to providing individual psychotherapy, group therapy, couples therapy, administration of medication, medication education and monitoring.
• As part of the treatment process, interview and treat the patient with input from the family and/or significant others and in conjunction with other team members and outside resources.
• Maintain adequate and current medical records relating to clinical activities and responsibilities. This includes: orders, daily progress notes which contain documentation of problems and goals formulated in the treatment plan, progress of the patient, reasons for change in medication or treatment, education; and discharge summaries. Such records must comply with Joint Commission, Medicare, DHS, DDAP, and Medical Assistance requirements.
