Certified Nursing Assistant**Weekly Pay**$1000 Sign On Bonus** Job at Laurel Crest Retirement Community
Presbyterian Homes of South Carolina (PCSC) is a not-for-profit faith based organization that owns and operates six life plan communities across the state and has been in business for over 60 years. Currently, Laurel Crest Retirement Community is seeking CNA's to join their mission in the healthcare center engaging and assisting senior adults with living life to the fullest.
We are trying to fill full-time and every other weekend positions. $1000 Sign On bonus offered for full-time positions.
CNA duties include, but not limited to:
- Providing assistance to residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting, exercising, social and recreational activities, and safety and evacuation procedures.
- Providing assistance to residents in the dining room, to include serving, clearing tables, refilling drinks, and feeding as necessary.
- Answering call lights promptly.
- Changing bed linens, makes beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly.
- Completing “Progress Notes” as resident care is provided into a computerized system. Observe and report any significant change in resident’s health or behavior, reactions to medications, or any significant incidents that occur with resident such as refusal of meals or showers, skin concerns, etc...
Required Minimum Education, Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant license for South Carolina
- CPR Certification
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
