Our Certified Medication Aide (CMA) heroes have a direct impact on the day to day lives of the patients and residents they care for.

Pay: $27,040-$33,280 a year,

Schedule: 8-hour shift, 2nd shift, 3rd shift, evening shift, night shift, full-time, part-time.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Responsibilities:

• Passes out medication and give treatments per physician’s orders, in a safe manner and in accordance with facility policy within CMA scope of practice.
• Documents care in the electronic medical record and/or in other medical record systems.
• Responsible for notifying the appropriate individuals of medications needing to be refilled.
• Responsible for preparing discontinued and expired medications for return to pharmacy on a daily basis.
• Provides the setup, encouragement, transportation & direct involvement for activities specific to the resident’s interests.
• Perform other duties as required.

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) Qualifications:

• Current state Certified Medication Aide (CMA) license.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.

You can go anywhere and be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA), but at Derby Assisted Living you can be a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) hero.
