Responsibilities of a Medication Aide:
Supports patient care delivery by helping health care providers during examinations-
Preparing laboratory specimens; performing basic laboratory tests on the premises -
Disposing of contaminated supplies -
Sterilizing medical instruments -
Administering medications on the premises
Authorizing drug refills as directed
