RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will aid our professional team and patients of all ages and backgrounds, both face-to-face as well as through telehealth, to do the following:

• Collect patient vital signs.
• Administering injections.
• Assist with generating reports for providers.
• Coordinating with pharmacies.
• Managing of schedules.
• Answering phones.
• Thorough documentation of patient interaction as well as communications of patient care with fellow staff members.

REQUIREMENTS

What it Takes

We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and experienced Certified Medical Assistant committed to our mission of providing patients with exceptional, trusted medical services.

Mandatory Requirements:

• A certificate of completion from an accredited medical assistant training program.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Well-developed listening and interview skills to explore patient needs.
• Strong verbal communication skills to advise patients.
• Problem-solving skills to develop effective patient care.
• Organization skills to maintain up-to-date, easy-to-navigate patient files.
• Familiarity with privacy, health, and safety laws.
• Computer skills in operating record-keeping, scheduling, email, and word-processing software.

Preferred:

• 1+ years as a Certified Medical Assistant*
• Spanish Speaking
