Job Summary and Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate/Certification from one of the following: AAMA - American Association of Medical Assistants Certified Medical Assistant (CMA credential)AMT- American Medical Technologists- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA credential)ARMA- American Registry of Medical Assistants-(ARMA credential)NCCT- National Center for Competency Testing- National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA credential)AMCA- American Medical Certification Association- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC credential)NHA- National Healthcareer Association- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA credential)

Required License: Must have and maintain a current certification. BLS Certification required within 90 days of employment.

Preferred Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience working in an ambulatory clinic. Possess an ability to function in a high stress, physically demanding setting.
