Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Our busy, fast-growing independently owned pediatric clinic is searching for an RELIABLE experienced medical assistant who loves working with children. As a smaller practice, we take pride in providing a friendly and compassionate experience for our patients at each visit. A warm and caring medical assistant to help provide that service is of utmost importance. Our family atmosphere creates a comfortable experience for patient families and employees alike. Filling the role of assisting the provider in clinic along with being the contact person for provider calls, assisting with referrals, and maintaining an efficient clinic flow are top priority for this position.

Candidates should be professional and punctual with a high work ethic, have a pleasant and friendly demeanor and be quick to adapt to changes in patient flow with seasonal illness and scheduling demands associated with pediatric primary care. Previous experience in pediatric or family practice setting strongly preferred.

Primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Maintaining efficient clinic flow

- Rooming patients, taking vitals

- Administering Immunizations to patients ages 2 months and up

- EMR usage, data entry, patient record keeping

- Medical supply and vaccine inventory counts

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is a MUST
• At least one (1) year of CMA experience preferred
• Must be willing to travel and work as needed either in the Georgetown, Round Rock, or soon to open Liberty Hill clinic locations.
• Competent & proficient with basic skills such as vital signs, administering pediatric immunizations, medications, documentation
• Able to perform duties as assigned
• Positive, coachable attitude with strong communication skills
• Able to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Professional demeanor, ability to work effectively with a team and be flexible

Ability to be compassionate at all times towards patients and staff members alike
