Education: High School diploma/G.E.D. preferred.

License/Certifications: CS Technician Certification (or within two years of hire if status not already obtained).

Experience: Previous experience working with medical supplies and sterilizing techniques preferred.

Position Summary
Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment dispensed by the department following established infection control practices. Must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of working under pressure and interacting professionally with other departments within the hospital. Able to accept new ideas. This position works closely with the OR to pick case carts for OR procedures.
