Watertown Regional Medical Center (recognized as a Top 100 Rural Hospital and Grade ‘A’ Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade) is seeking a Registered Cath Lab Tech by either RCIS or ARRT to join the Diagnostic Imaging team. The Invasive Cardiovascular Technician provides direct patient care to adult patients undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiology, diagnostic and interventional vascular, and interventional radiology procedures throughout the peri-procedural time period. This position addresses the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.

The CV Tech is responsible for:

• Preparing the procedure room, instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures
• Assisting the physician with passing instruments, sutures, sponges, operation of table and imaging equipment, and maintaining aseptic technique
• Assisting with the maintenance of equipment and inventory
• Obtaining supplies for individual cases and ensuring all appropriate needs of the Heart & Vascular suite team are met.
• Monitoring, positioning, and assisting the patient during procedures.

Must Have:

• Previous experience with arterial lines and swan-ganz catheters, EKG and hemodynamic pressure tracings interpretation required
• Ability to work with and operate a variety of technical equipment including x-ray table, camera, digital recording equipment, ultrasound machine, pressure injectors
• Nice to have previous Cath Lab experience or Interventional Radiology experience
