The Case Manager Aide is responsible for providing administrative support to the case management department to ensure services are provided to the youth in a timely manner. Under direct supervision from the Lead Case Manager, the Case Manager Aide will act as a resource to the case managers and act as a liaison between the referring agency, the community, professional services, and youth, agency standards, and licensing. Upbring is classified as an

Work Standards
Work Standards
- Provide assistance to case managers and support to youth under supervision from the Case Management Director
- Conduct needs assessment, obtain pertinent information, and establish program goals for youth
- Coordinate any identified needs for minor through community-based services
- Assisting with Service Plan (ISP) and assessments within appropriate time frames of youth placement under supervision from Case Manager Director
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Communication
- Assist with filing, closing, and with overall daily maintenance of records
- Assist Lead Case manager in completing , updating, and maintaining records of all resident interactions, contacts, behavior issues, and resident progress; collect and compile relevant case history information; ensure all case files include the required documentation and required forms; maintain case files in accordance with Agency policies, licensing standards and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements; ensure all case files are always audit ready
- Ensure the privacy of all resident information and case files; always comply with HIPPA/HIPAA guidelines
- Complete and submit all progress and case notes, reviews, and reports in a timely manner

Teamwork
- Assist with the coordination of travel arrangements for program staff transporting youth
- Assist as required in transporting minors to any required services
- Provide after-hour services during period of high influx with youth admissions
- Work closely with Case Management team to ensure case management and program services are effectively and efficiently supporting Agency objectives and program purpose
- Assist with safely transport of youth to and from scheduled activities and appointments using safety protocols; use safety protocol to enter and exit youth from the vehicle; assist youth with entering and exiting the vehicle, as needed

Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 60 college credit hours and/or a combination of education and relevant experience in social work, counseling, psychology, or closely related field
- 1 year of experience working with children
- Must have valid TX driver license and auto insurance to be designated as an authorized driver
- Ability to establish rapport, trust, and boundaries with children, parents, and families
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups of people
- The ability to apply compassion and empathy, while dealing with stressful and difficult situations
- The ability to relate positively to young people with serious behavioral and emotional disturbances
- Strong and effective communication (verbal) skills with the ability to clearly communicate thoughts and provide instruction
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a group
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be willing to work evenings, Saturdays and Sundays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or closely related field
- 1+ years of child welfare research experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Based on service area and service population)
- Lived experience with the residential treatment or foster care system
