Hillview Mental Health Center is currently recruiting for Care Coordinators for both day and night positions with special shifts requirements.

Adult Residential – 11 ½ hour shift from 9:00 pm to 9:30 am with two one half hour meal breaks. You will work seven shifts every two weeks. Schedule has a set rotation. You will work 3 shifts in one week and 4 the following week.

Adult Residential is a short–term 24 hour program with capacity for 15 residents.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in mental health or human service field.
• Must show valid California driver's license and current automobile insurance prior to start date, and thereafter, on an annual basis.
• Must maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to pass thorough background check.

Required Skills:

• 4 years Experience/knowledge related to working in the mental health field.
• Proficient with written and oral communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must have basic typing skills
• Comfort working with a diverse clinical population, including clients with severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as clients referred from the criminal justice system.
• Comfort working independently and with a multidisciplinary team in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to maintain productivity and documentation standards.
• Compassion for clients.
• Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, demonstrate sound judgment, give attention to detail, be flexible, self-driven and motivated.

Preferred Skills:

• Bilingual in Spanish-English is a plus but not required.
• Experience with substance use treatment and/or specialization in co-occurring disorders.
• Previous case management experience.
• Knowledge of Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health records paperwork

Pay: $19.24 - $21.67 per hour
