Easterseals Central Texas began in 1937 as the Texas Society for Crippled Children. In 1949, a small building was dedicated as the Austin Cerebral Palsy Center serving a small population of Central Texas residents. YOUR LIFE AS A CASE MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR

This full-time HR position in child development with our nonprofit works the day shift during business hours.

As a Case Management Coordinator in human services, you play an essential role in using a family-centered model to help children achieve their goals. You develop and deliver a comprehensive routine-based service plan that assists families with identifying their routines, concerns, priorities, and needed resources. Using developmental assessments, you help families achieve their goals and continuously re-evaluate potential strategies and outcomes based on their needs. You also initiate and maintain contact with the child's physician to obtain necessary medical information.

In addition, you update HR on all needed documentation on a regular basis. You complete the necessary continuing education to maintain proper certifications and licensures. Throughout working hours, you consistently communicate with our main office as well as assist other departments, team members, and agency managers with obtaining the goals and objectives of our nonprofit. You also help out with the hands-on training of skills, billing, and other competencies. As needed, you attend staff meetings and remain available for questions from other colleagues. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in child development, psychology, or a related human services field
  • Certified by the Early Childhood Intervention state agency
  • 2+ years of experience working with children, preferably children with special needs
  • Reliable transportation with current auto insurance
  • Covid-19 vaccination
