Case Cart Tech

Night Shift 10 pm- 6:30 am

Prepares and delivers complete case carts from preference cards for patient/procedure-specific surgical cases, including add on case carts to the Operating Room according to departmental standards.

• Restocks supply carts in designated areas utilizing inventory control methods.
• Completes surgical case cart and surgical equipment staging activities.
• Conducts case cart and instrument return and restocking activities.
• Conducts supply storage (shelves, bins, cabinets) cleaning and return activities.
• Tracks and monitors availability of supplies and instruments for procedures in collaboration with the members of the Sterile Processing Department (SPD)/Operating Room Material Management (ORMM) team and Operating Room (OR) Team.
• Communicates regularly with operating room staff and SPD leadership to ensure that proper supplies for each case are picked and delivered as needed.
