Our Dallas Group Home currently has a Full-Time position for a Direct Service Provider / DSP to join their team. Second Shift 2pm -10pm flexible weekdays and every-other-weekend.

What You’ll Do:

In this position you will work directly with clients living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) or mental health (MH) challenges. These clients reside in our IDD or MH group homes and require 24-hour care in a warm and friendly, family environment. You will help clients with their daily living skills and also help keep them socially engaged so their days are enjoyable and meaningful. Daily documentation and reporting is required.

What We’re Looking For:

• High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of direct care experience, personal care and/or CNA experience, preferred
• Valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance and a good driving record

• Must complete and maintain our training curriculum, which includes (but is not limited to) the following:
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Crisis Intervention Techniques
  • Medication Administration
  • OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP)
  • Seizure Management
  • Core competencies and other trainings relevant to position
