Salary: $45,000-$55,000

Description:

gener8tor seeks a Skills Accelerator Career Coach to join our rapidly growing team. As a Career Coach you will work directly with participants enrolled in our free skills training programs across the country. You will coach participants through each step of the program while providing a resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile and interviewing support.

gener8tor's turnkey platform for the creative economy connects startup founders, musicians, artists, investors, universities and corporations. The gener8tor platform includes pre-accelerators, accelerators, corporate programming, conferences and fellowships.

gener8tor Skills Accelerator programs help job seekers rebuild their confidence and develop new skill sets in a variety of top technologies. By participating in the program, job seekers can earn free or low cost certifications to help distinguish themselves as job applicants. This is a challenging time, use it to gain valuable skills to advance your career and earning ability!

Responsibilities:

• Meet with participants virtually on a weekly basis.
• Report weekly participant notes and job placements to the Program Manager.
• Attend gener8tor Skills Accelerator Lunch & Learns (virtually).
• Help out with other aspects of gener8tor Skills Accelerator such as recruiting and employer outreach as needed.
• Support your gener8tor teammates across multiple programs.

Requirements:

• Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a self-starter.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and juggle multiple ongoing projects, responsibilities and relationships.
• Willingness to intensively and rapidly dive into understanding the needs of gener8tor's large and growing platform.
• Commitment to equity across race, place and gender.
• Flexibility to travel, work some nights and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• A "no job is beneath me" mentality.
