Candle Maker Job at Glassnote Candle Bar

Glassnote Candle Bar Milwaukee, WI 53204

Milwaukee Candle Co. Production Position Overview

Overview:
Milwaukee Candle Co. is a sibling brand to Glassnote Candle Bar, located on the same floor. We are a hand-poured candle company based in the heart of Walker’s Point, Milwaukee, WI. We take pride in the fact that we handcraft eco-friendly candles from an American grown, renewable product (soy wax). Our candles & fragrances do NOT contain any parabens, ammonia, chlorine or lauramide DEA & are pesticide-free.

The idea for Milwaukee Candle Co. was born after an epiphany with the strength and power of scent-memory connection and its relation to adventure and nostalgic moments in time. Each fragrance in our Hometown Collection is inspired by a specific experience with Milwaukee. Candles such as Bradford Beach (on a good day), Brewery Tour, and Jazzmine in the Park from the Hometown Collection have really taken a liking amongst the community near and far. After releasing the Hometown Collection, we released the Essential Collection. This collection contains candles that are more universally appealing, and not necessarily related to Milwaukee. Some of our most popular Essential Collection candles include Blood Orange + Mahogany and Bergamot + Lavender. This broadened our appeal and also provided a creative outlet for non-milwaukee themed fragrance creation. We then took on collaboration candle projects with various brands around the city of Milwaukee and state of Wisconsin. Some notable brands we’ve developed candles for include Stone Creek Coffee, Drink Wisconsinbly, Peck & Bushel, and Great Northern Distillery, just to name a few.

We sell our candles through our website, through wholesale channels, at street festivals and craft fairs, and at Glassnote Candle Bar, our sibling brand located in the same space.
