Patient Support Center Representative
Heartland Women's Healthcare, an Advantia Health partner is GROWING and looking to add a Patient Support Center Representative (PCS Rep) to our team.
The PSC Rep position answers incoming calls for appointment scheduling, serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff, and takes all incoming calls. Position may rotate between day, evening, and weekend shifts. EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED.

- Answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages, and provide information along with greeting patients in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
- Verifies and updates demographic, insurance and other necessary information in the computer records.
- Directs patients to website to access documents that may need to be completed prior to patient visit.
- Schedules and maintains appointments through computerized scheduling program.
- Adheres to established Rules of Scheduling through computerized scheduling program.
- Utilizes phone system to initiate reminder calls and reschedule missed appointments.
- Handles patient, provider, and staff requests within the appropriate scope of practice.
- Ensure all communications reflect the standards and mission of Heartland Women's Healthcare.
- Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPPA guidelines.
- Display a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous and professional attitude.
- Be willing and able to adapt to changes.
- Covid-19 (or approved request for accommodation) is a requirement for employment
