Position: Full-time, 40 hours per week

This position requires schedule flexibility, the call-center manager is expected to be available to work the morning or afternoon shift AND weekends.

Catapult Fundraising, Inc. is a national fundraising consulting firm working with nonprofits to conduct capital campaigns, capacity building, tele-fundraising, and major donor prospect research. Headquarters are in Henderson, NV with offices in Dallas, TX, Wayne, NJ, and Western New York.

Position Overview:

The Call Center Manager is in charge of the day-to-day management of the calling operations for the center. The ideal candidate demonstrates superior communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must also possess strong computer skills, including but not limited to, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AND Access. Ability to quickly learn new software used for monitoring and training purposes is imperative. Previous experience in call center management is preferred. Our successful candidate will be professional, well-groomed, with strong writing skills, organizational skills, and computer/technology skills a must.

Principal Duties

  • Encourages a team of callers to effectively process and hit objectives for each client. This includes coming up with bonuses, and challenges that will ensure callers are measuring up to the performance standards.
  • Assists in training and motivating of new hires to be successful callers. After their first two nights of ‘classroom’ training, the Supervisor is also expected to continue their training through role-play, suggestions, and counsels while the new callers are on the floor.
  • Directly manages all callers. Monitoring calls and offering suggestions for improvement that will allow for callers to grow and achieve better results as successful fundraisers.
  • Enforces policies, procedures, and standards of quality and excellence on the calling floor.
  • Collect and process credit card information as required for each client.
  • Assists in wrapping up nightly calling, including tallying out of callers, batching results for all clients, typing up supervisor attentions, filling out nightly processing report.
  • Handles other assignments as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Sound judgment, thoughtfulness, and the attention to detail necessary to establish a judicious balance between Catapult priorities and client’s interests.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, articulateness, poise and presentability when communicating with individuals and groups, including internal and external audiences, i.e., staff, clients, conferences, potential clients, vendors, etc.
  • Computing proficiency, including word processing and database skills, and the ability to use technology to gather, interpret, organize, and present data.
  • Evidence of self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and with teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities as circumstances may dictate.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to the values and mission of Catapult and its clients.

Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college/university
· Demonstrated leadership skills
· An understanding of the importance of non-profits in our society
· Ability to multitask
· Self-starter and highly motivated.
· Experience writing both statistical reports and project reports
· Outgoing pleasant personality
· Business-like appearance and demeanor

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
