CADD Technician - Building Structures Job at Whitney, Bailey, Cox & Magnani, LLC
Whitney, Bailey, Cox & Magnani, LLC is excited to announce we are actively searching for a CADD Technician to join our award-winning team in our Harrisburg office.
This position is full time, hourly level. Work hours are 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Most work performed in an office environment; occasional travel required at times.
This position supports the department needs and WBCM Mission by:
- Working on projects relating to structural systems for institutional, commercial, industrial, education, and residential buildings.
- Producing drawings for presentations/meetings/submissions.
- Making corrections to drawings from Engineer markups.
- Coordinating project details (models/designs, building systems) with other design disciplines including architects, Mechanical Engineers, and Civil Engineers.
- Helping other departments complete assignments.
- Assisting with field work/site visits.
- Translating engineering field notes and incorporating into working drawings.
- Coordinating printing/plotting requirements for projects.
- Scanning and copying documents
The qualifications/skills you will bring to WBCM:
- 0-4 years of experience in building structural engineering field preferred.
- Proficiency using AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Adobe Reader (PDF), Word, Excel.
- College or Tech school coursework/training. A.S. or B.S. Degree preferred.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work overtime when needed.
