Job Description:
Join a focused team of engineers bringing highly complex, dense, rugged and secure electronic packaging solutions to our nation’s warfighters and first responders. Mercury Systems uses cutting edge
technology from Intel, NVIDIA, Xilinx, Altera, Broadcom, among others. The individual is responsible to development and maintain Mercury Systems Global electronics library using the Cadence tool set. As part of the Global Engineering Services team, you will support a diverse set of engineers around the globe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Learn Footprint concepts and tools such as Cadence Allegro and Concept
  • Create footprints by reading device datasheets or application notes
  • Provide accurately built footprints to electrical engineers
  • Support engineering community when footprint issues arise
  • Support and maintain Mercury System’s Footprint revision control system using Cadence Pulse
  • Learn to build schematics symbols for schematic development
  • Learn to build Mentor Valydate models for schematic checking
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent math skills
  • Strong Organizational and communication skills
  • Cadence experience a plus
  • Experience with Cadence Pulse a plus
  • Familiar with electronic part datasheets
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • Familiar with creating schematic symbols and PCB footprints a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast paced engineering services group supporting multiple time zones within the US and internationally
