Exceed Engineering (EE) is a multi-discipline professional engineering firm that provides engineering services to municipalities, state agencies and the private sector. We are a small but busy and growing firm located in Wills Point, Texas, convenient to I-20. Currently, the majority of our projects are located within the East Texas region as well as some projects in West Texas. We are currently searching for an experienced AutoCAD Civil3D designer. We are prepared to hire the right candidate immediately, someone who will be able to begin designing current projects on Day 1. The new hire will be working in our office located in Wills Point. The types of projects you will work on will be varied and can be discussed in the interview. The following lists the duties to be fulfilled and necessary qualifications desired:

Setup/Update Design Projects:

• Creating Civil AutoCAD drawings for use by the team
• Cleaning Architectural AutoCAD drawings to standard
• Updating/Creating Support and Standards documents
• Provide design software support for the team
• Liaise with project team and client
• Create to Maintain AutoCAD content, including blocks and templates

Knowledge and Proficiency Required:

• Highly Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Professional experience in Design/Construction industry
• Certification or Degree in CAD a plus
• Microsoft Office
• Bluebeam PDF Software
• Understanding of AutoCAD best practices
• Proficiency in Windows PC and/or Windows Server
• Ability to work well independently and as a team
• Solid time management and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong communication skills with individuals at all levels within the company

Physical Requirements.

• Sitting for long/extended periods of time.
• Ability to adequately use a computer, printer, mouse, and other office equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and operate a motor vehicle.

Salary and Benefits
