Position Description:

Plan, coordinate, oversee, and inspect new, rebuilt, and upgraded (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) construction projects. Inspect (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments. Ensure standards, processes and procedures for network design and deployment are followed.  Perform (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) field engineering, and work with OSP Design Engineers, Project Managers, and others to create efficient route designs and cost estimates.  Coordinate permitting and pole applications, joint-trenching, and make-ready for utility poles.  Function as the company representative with other utility and state/local entities for field meetings when opening/closing permits.  Inspect (Telecom, Fiber, FTTx) networks and ensure optical mainline and drop network is available for launch or product deployments.  Serve as a single point of contact for OSP issues and solve fiber cable OSP issues, as well as make recommendations based on priority and need to ensure the project and budget are maintained.  Maintain project documentation and reporting o Single point of contact for splice issues, construction print issues, redlines, etc. o Assist field personnel and construction contractors real-time.  OTDR plots/traces  Optical power readings, etc.

Requirements:

Five Year work Experience Competent in Excel Excellent Communication Skills High school education

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
