Well established and surging AV and Infrastructure cabling company based in North Easton, MA is looking for full-time cable technicians.
This is not an entry-level position.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Installation and termination of cables for voice, data, speakers, access control, cameras, control systems, fiber
- Termination of cables at station end and on patch panel in racks
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and equipment manufacturer installation instructions
Job Requirements:
- Two-plus years of hands-on installation experience in commercial and/or residential environment running multiple cables for potentially hundreds of locations
- Proficiency with cable installation, terminations, testing and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of construction techniques and wiring methods for new and existing construction
- Ability to work under pressure, assess multiple demands and manage priorities
- Proficiency with hand and power tools used to complete installations of speakers, displays, equipment racks.
- Team-player willing to work with others with a positive attitude
- Ability to work off a step ladder, extension ladder, scissor or boom lift
- Ability to work all shifts as needed, including the potential for weekend work
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable travel
