C-Store Food Service Clerk

Job Summary:

The Food Service Clerk will prepare and serve food. They are responsible for preparing hot and cold foods, washing dishes, cleaning, stocking, and organizing kitchen.

Responsibilities and duties (what you’ll do):

• Respond to customer queries, make product recommendations
• Prepare, wash, and cut food to be cooked
• Prepare and cook food according to instructions provided, including weighing, and measuring food
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation and follow food storage procedures
• Operate large volume cooking equipment such as grills or deep fryers
• Follow foodservice regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized as well as all equipment is working properly
• Maintain safety and security of the store, promptly and accurately documenting issues
• Follows all company policies, and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications and skills (what we’re looking for):

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
