General Overview: As a Buyer, this role will be an integral part in providing uninterrupted supply of purchased materials and developing inventory plans to meet customer demands, reduce stock outages and increase inventory turns. This candidate must be strong in time management, creative thinking, achieve departmental KPIs, and be adaptable when new projects and priorities are provided.

You will have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with manufacturing to ensure on time delivery
- Visit select suppliers to enhance knowledge of supplier capabilities
- Analyze forecasts, orders and capacities to identify issues and develop, recommend and implement solutions
- Develop KanBan’s to ensure on time delivery from suppliers
- Arrange for rework or replacement of non-conforming material
- Participate in cross-functional teams to identify root cause issues and provide proactive solutions
- Negotiate minimum order quantities
Required Skills: A Bachelor’s degree required, and at least 2-5 of relevant experience in purchasing and production planning.
