GENERAL SUMMARY:

Seasoned hands-on Business system Architect/Analyst to help efforts for defining the functional & technical architectural solutions for core customer/account reference data applications in the Financial Crimes Unit and provide support in the development, implementation, and testing of modification and enhancements of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring, and/or the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) customer name screening solutions. Perform system administrative, configuration, and reporting functions which are not the responsibilities of other technical departments. Accountable for systems design, technical architecture, strategy, and technical standards and governance. Viewed as a technology subject matter expert; able to provide and communicate complex technology solutions across differing audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors. Leads the resolution process for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within defined practices and policies. The individual should have the aptitude to understand the business process, work in a team environment with other architects, business analysts and developers.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide and communicate complex technology solutions across different audiences including technical, managerial, business executives, and/or vendors.
• Contribute to driving architecture strategy to keep it aligned with industry advancement and new technologies.
• Designing and managing the execution of AML insights and analytics reporting based on the banks AML program business specifications.
• Analyze system problems and drive resolution to ensure the AML transactions monitoring and/or OFAC customer name screening solutions process run smoothly. Working with Technology and Innovation department to resolve technology incidents as required -Produce detailed technical design to accomplish requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external technical resources to help manage the Banks overall strategy and drive the solution, customization, and integration efforts.
• Collaborate with the technical development team to produce a technical specification for development and systems integration requirements.
• This person may also be responsible for any project/activity assigned such as documenting business requirements, defining scope, and objective, and creating system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
• Provide data analysis expertise for AML Compliance projects to include requesting, profiling, extracting, analyzing, testing, and reviewing data.
• Provide current best practices and 3rd Party solution alternatives as needed
