The Business Optimization Consultant is a key role representing the factory supply chain planning function in all aspects of the evaluation and roll out of the future of planning systems and processes. As a member of the project team, this individual will be involved in the system’s testing, success criteria evaluation, future process design and future capability needs identification and training. The Business Optimization Consultant will also work closely with the project team and key stakeholders to analyze change management efforts needed, including analysis of current state and recommendations for path to achieve future state. This role will also be responsible for drafting and conducting training, becoming the key/super user, and influencing leaders to coach teams through the change.
This role will work closely with the Global Project Team, Local Project Managers, Supply Chain Excellence team, and other subject matter experts. They also will be responsible for collaborating with these teams to ensure a full end to end consideration as they work through the milestones of the project and implementation of the future state.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert on factory supply chain and detailed scheduling through own knowledge or gathering data from others
- Provide data needed to execute testing and evaluate tools
- Influence and execute test cases following vendor guidelines provided
- Provide recommendations for tool requirements & product evolution in partnership with global Product Owner and Central IT teams.
- Design & Document end-to-end process flows to incorporate new technology, as a representative of their function for NUSA. Coach end users and Managers on new ways of working.
- Capture lessons learned & mitigation actions at each stage, to ensure continuous improvement of future rollouts.
- Collaborate with Change Manager to identify change management & communication needs to build engagement of end users throughout project
- Manager stakeholders in Factory & Technical & Production leadership, including building recommendations, sharing executive updates, and leading alignment workshops.
- Develop & deliver training to ensure program adoption & end user happiness
- Create processes to monitor system utilization & performance

- Must be able to work independently and to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments

- Experience with software implementation or development lifecycle

- This is a temporary position that will end as of 12/31/2024.
- Position can be based in Arlington, VA or in Solon, OH
