- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience writing complex SQL queries
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
Amazon's Subscribe & Save program is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer who is passionate about using data to influence the customer experience for a large and quickly growing consumer-facing product subscription service. This role will focus on building world-class processes around collecting, organizing, and presenting data to understand customer behavior, feature performance, and accurately calculate ROI across multiple marketing and business development channels. A successful candidate knows and loves working with business intelligence tools, is comfortable accessing and working with data from multiple sources, and can collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers to help drive the business forward. This role will require the candidate to operate as a thought leader and a business owner, who can drive business decisions on behalf of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, evaluate, and present actionable data and recommendations to drive marketing, business development and product management decisions at a senior level.
- Own, build and automate generation of SnS business metrics using Tableau.
- Understand high-level business goals and continually align work with them to meet needs of business.
- Examine and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in data investigation and reporting: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and self-service automation.
- Write high quality code to retrieve and review data. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources.
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
